Introduction to Ecommerce Management:

Internet Commerce, or ‘electronic commerce’, popularly referred to nowadays as Ecommerce, is the process of using the internet to facilitate the purchasing of goods and services, as well as after-sales support.

Ecommerce is a combination of processes otherwise considered separate and unrelated, collaborating over the internet to ensure a smooth, secure transaction. However, with the simplicity of Shopify everything is under one roof – there is no need to set up payment gateways or find a merchant to handle online payments. The downside though is there no promotional function to benefit from, so this is still handled by you as the retailer directly.
