Are you aged 16 or older, have an interest in tech and seeking alternatives to college or university? Become an Apprentice in Digital Marketing!

It doesn’t matter if you are school or college leaver, currently unemployed and looking for work, or already in employment and considering doing something to enhance your current job role. If you are willing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and can commit to a long-term training plan, then you are ready to become an Apprentice!

How do I become an Apprentice?

At CliQify Skills, we specialize entirely on digital skills. Our Apprenticeship programme embeds the latest professional vendor qualifications and is delivered as part of the Level 3 Digital Marketer Advanced Apprenticeship.

What Job Roles are there available?

Our Digital Marketer Apprenticeship can fit alongside most job roles – as long as Digital Marketing is a part of your routine responsibility. However, the most common types of job roles may include (but are not limited to):

  • Social Media Administrator
  • Social Media Manager

  • Digital Marketing Administrator
  • Digital Marketing Technologist
  • Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Digital Marketing Assistant
  • Digital Marketer

How will I benefit from becoming an Apprentice?

Let’s get down to business – this is an opportunity to gain some essential skills to help you build a decent career in Digital Marketing:

Rights and Entitlements:

When you become an Apprentice you can expect the following entitlements:

  • Your own personal e-Portfolio to upload work for marking and assessment
  • Dedicated Digital Coach to work with you throughout the duration of your program
  • Not to be discriminated against your age, sex, gender, religious belief, faith, sexual preference or abilities

Your employer must provide you with:

  • A written Contract of Employment and Job Description
  • A salary above National Minimum Wage (see below)
  • A safe and healthy place of work
  • Adequate and sufficient technology, equipment and software
  • At least 20% of your working time spent off-the-job learning

You will be entitled to National Minimum Wage (per hour)*, according to your age:

  • Apprentice (under 19 or in first year of Apprenticeship) = £3.50
  • Under 18 = £4.05
  • 18 to 20 = £5.60
  • 21 to 24 = £7.05
  • 25+ = £7.50

*If you are already in employment and want to do an Apprenticeship, there will be no need to change your current salary.

Career Opportunities:

After completing an Apprenticeship programme, there is a world of opportunities open to you:

  • Further your career opportunities within the Digital Marketing sector
  • Pursue promotion within your employment
  • Be better paid, and receive a higher income as you progress in your field
  • Progress to a Higher Apprenticeship – equivalent to a Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • We can support you if going on to University is something you want to consider

Entry Requirements and Eligibility:

If you want to become an Apprentice you must meet the following strict criteria:

You must be:

  • UK/EU resident for at least 3 years
  • Aged 16 or over (no upper age limit)
  • Looking for – or already in – full time employment, at least 30 hours per week
  • Willing to commit to 18 months of on-the-job training

Ideally, you must also have:

  • A-Levels and/or GCSEs grades A to C (at least English, Maths and/or ICT)
  • A basic understanding of IT and MS Office
  • Experience of using at least one popular social media platform

And you cannot:

  • Already be in full-time education
  • Hold a qualification in a similar or equivalent topic
